San Antonio, TX (September 29, 2025) – One person was injured in a hit-and-run crash involving a stolen vehicle early Sunday morning in San Antonio’s North Side, according to local authorities.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on September 28 at the intersection of Vance Jackson and De Zavala Road. A yellow Dodge Ram, later confirmed to be stolen, was speeding eastbound on De Zavala Road when it ran a red light and collided with a gray 2021 Toyota traveling southbound through the intersection.
Following the crash, the driver of the stolen Dodge Ram and two passengers fled on foot. SAPD officers apprehended the passengers and took them into custody. The driver remains at large.
A passenger in the Toyota sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The investigation remains active as police continue to search for the driver.
