North Hollywood, CA (October 4, 2025) – A tragic single-vehicle crash early Friday morning claimed the lives of two individuals, including 18-year-old Jonathan Dicristofaro, in North Hollywood.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision occurred around 1:43 a.m. on October 3 along Vanowen Street near Lemp Avenue. A silver vehicle was heading westbound when it lost control and slammed into a power pole.
Los Angeles firefighters responded to the scene and used specialized hydraulic tools to free the victims from the wreckage. A 30-year-old man who was seated in the left rear passenger seat was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jonathan Dicristofaro and two others were transported to nearby hospitals with serious injuries. Dicristofaro later died from his injuries at the hospital.
