Rohnert Park, CA (October 13, 2025) – A deadly motorcycle crash claimed the life of a Santa Rosa man early Thursday morning in Sonoma County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on October 9 on southbound Highway 101, just north of the Golf Course Drive exit. Charles Forsyth, 40, was riding a 1974 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when a Ford Fusion in front of him swerved to avoid debris in the road. Forsyth’s motorcycle struck the right front of the vehicle.
The collision threw Forsyth from the bike, and emergency crews immediately began CPR. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Ford’s driver was not hurt and remained at the scene to cooperate with investigators.
