San Antonio, TX (October 13, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash left one person critically injured Saturday afternoon on San Antonio’s Northwest Side.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened shortly before 3:00 p.m. on October 11 in the 918 block of Bandera Road, near the Bandera Shopping Center. A silver sedan heading southbound reportedly struck a white vehicle traveling northbound as it attempted a left turn into a nearby parking lot.
The impact left the driver of the white vehicle with life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews transported them to University Hospital for urgent care. The driver of the sedan was also expected to be taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
Southbound lanes of Bandera Road near Embassy were temporarily shut down while authorities worked the scene. Investigators are continuing to review circumstances leading up to the crash.
