Sacramento, CA (October 31, 2025) – Nine people, including seven juveniles, were injured in a school bus accident Wednesday afternoon, October 29, in the Del Paso Heights neighborhood of Sacramento. The crash occurred around 2:50 p.m. in the 3900 block of Belden Street.
According to the Sacramento Fire Department, a Toyota Tacoma carrying seven juveniles was traveling toward eastbound Harris Avenue when it failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The pickup collided with a school bus traveling north on Belden Street.
The impact caused the school bus to spin out while the pickup crashed through a metal fence and struck backyard structures. The school bus driver and one student passenger were transported with minor injuries. All seven occupants of the Tacoma also suffered minor injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals.
The California Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the crash.
