Phoenix, AZ (November 1, 2025) – An 84-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday evening in a deadly pedestrian crash in north Phoenix.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the fatal accident took place around 7:30 p.m. on October 30 at the intersection of 32nd Street and Campo Bello Drive, just north of Bell Road. Police say Edward Picklesy was reportedly crossing the street, possibly outside of a designated crosswalk, when he was struck by a passing vehicle.
Emergency responders transported Picklesy to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
