Midland County, TX (November 3, 2025) – A 24-year-old man lost his life in a two-vehicle collision early Tuesday morning in Midland County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred around 12:50 a.m. on October 29 at the intersection of County Road 1270 and County Road 150. Authorities say Guillermo Beltran Jr. was driving a 2023 Cadillac CT4 northbound on County Road 1270 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a parked 2013 Freightliner on the shoulder.
Beltran, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Freightliner was not injured.
Officials are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision, including what may have caused the Cadillac to leave the roadway.
