Authorities say Guillermo Beltran Jr. was driving a 2023 Cadillac CT4 northbound on County Road 1270 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a parked 2013 Freightliner on the shoulder.

Beltran, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Freightliner was not injured.
