According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal collision occurred around 8 p.m. on November 8 along East Mount Houston Road near Sheridan Road. Authorities say a white Nissan SUV was traveling eastbound when it suddenly veered into the westbound lane and struck a gray Cadillac head-on.
