Yuma, AZ (November 9, 2025) – Four people, including a teenager, were injured following a two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in Yuma on Saturday evening.
According to the Yuma Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 5:46 p.m. on November 8 at the intersection of 20th Street and Avenue C. Investigators say a 53-year-old woman was driving a 2011 Scion XD southbound on South Avenue C and attempted to turn left onto West 20th Street when she was struck by a northbound 2024 Ford F-250 driven by a 34-year-old man.
The Scion driver and her 14-year-old passenger were transported to Onvida Health Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The teenager was later transferred to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for specialized care.
The driver of the F-250 and his 31-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene by Yuma Fire Department crews.
Authorities noted that neither alcohol nor speed appear to have contributed to the crash. The incident remains under active investigation.
