Brevard County, FL (November 21, 2025) — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Brevard County tragically claimed the life of a North Carolina paramedic who was off-duty but stopped to assist victims. The series of collisions began just after midnight on November 16 near Mims, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident began when a 2019 Chevrolet Impala attempted a lane change and collided with a 2024 Volkswagen. The Impala then struck a median and came to a stop in the inside northbound lane. As the 33-year-old driver exited the vehicle, a Hyundai Elantra and Audi A4 struck both the car and the man.
