Winchester, CA (November 21, 2025) – One person was transported to the hospital Wednesday evening following a crash at a busy intersection in Winchester.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 6:39 p.m. on November 19 at the intersection of Simpson Road and Winchester Road. A dark-gray Hyundai SUV and another vehicle were involved. During the crash, one of the vehicles struck a power pole, causing it to fall and prompting road closures in both directions of Simpson Road.
Emergency responders transported one person to Inland Valley Hospital after they reported pain from the incident. Authorities cleared the scene and reopened the roadway by 7:36 p.m.
