According to the New York State Police , the incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. on November 20. A 19-year-old woman from Queensbury was traveling north in a blue 2014 Subaru Forester and had begun slowing to make a turn. A black 2015 Subaru, driven by a 46-year-old Norwood woman, was behind her and failed to maintain a safe distance. Police say the second vehicle sideswiped the Forester, pushing both cars off the roadway.
The Queensbury woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for care. The Norwood driver was arrested at the scene after failing sobriety tests and was later charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
