Vineland, NJ (November 26, 2025) – A tragic multi-vehicle crash in Vineland claimed the life of one woman and left two others injured on Monday afternoon, according to local authorities.
According to the Vineland Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 2:12 p.m. on November 24 at the intersection of North Lincoln Avenue and Maple Avenue. Officers responded to a three-vehicle crash with reports of serious injuries.
Investigators say 87-year-old Ramona Sansalone of Minotola was driving a blue Honda Civic southbound on North Lincoln Avenue when she struck the rear end of a white 1989 Ford pickup truck towing an 18-foot transport trailer. The Ford was being driven by 36-year-old Dayana Rivera of Vineland, who was making a left turn into a driveway at the time of impact.
The collision caused Sansalone’s vehicle to veer into the northbound lane, where it then collided head-on with a white 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 63-year-old Evelyn Masilotti of Vineland. Sansalone was airlifted to a hospital but later died from her injuries. Masilotti sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while Rivera declined treatment but reported pain at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Vineland Police Department’s Traffic Unit.
