The tragic incident occurred between Ulmerton Road and 8th Avenue when a Dodge Durango collided with a Kia Soul that was attempting a left turn. Authorities confirmed the Kia Soul was carrying 78-year-old Gail Price, who was critically injured in the collision and later died.
Two children in the vehicle, identified as 4-year-old Charlie Herbert Solomon Riveria and 10-year-old Jabari Elijah Solomon, were also killed in the crash. Another passenger, 58-year-old Herbert Rivera, remains hospitalized with serious injuries.
Several others were reportedly injured in the crash, which prompted an extended closure of Ridge Road as investigators worked at the scene. Police have stated that alcohol does not appear to be a factor. The investigation remains ongoing.
