Kaimuki, HI (November 23, 2025) – An elderly man sustained serious burn injuries following a house fire that broke out late Friday night in the Kaimuki neighborhood of Honolulu.
According to the Hawaii Department of Public Safety, the Honolulu Fire Department responded around 9:38 p.m. to reports of a blaze at a single-family residence on 2nd Avenue. Upon arrival, crews found the home fully engulfed in flames. A 75-year-old male occupant had managed to escape the burning structure but suffered significant burn injuries. Firefighters and paramedics provided emergency medical assistance on scene before transporting him to a local hospital in serious condition.
