Chambers County, AL (November 30, 2025) — A devastating head-on collision Friday evening took the life of a Randolph County woman along a rural stretch of road in Chambers County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash happened around 5:25 p.m. on November 28 along Chambers County Road 278 near Chambers County Road 251. Jazmin Allende, a 35-year-old resident of Wadley, was operating a Kia Soul when her vehicle collided head-on with a Ford F-250 under still-unclear circumstances.
Authorities report that Allende was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision and died at the scene. The driver of the Ford F-250 was injured and transported to Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center for further treatment. The roadway remained closed for some time as investigators worked the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by state authorities.
