Escambia County, FL (December 1, 2025) – A tragic early-morning collision on Sunday in Escambia County left two individuals seriously injured and resulted in the loss of an unborn child.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 1 a.m. on November 30 on U.S. Highway 29 near Neal Road. A black Ford F150, driven by a 21-year-old pregnant woman from Cantonment, was traveling north when a 17-year-old male in a white GMC Sierra attempted a left turn from the southbound side onto Neal Road. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
The woman was transported to a local hospital in serious condition, where she tragically lost her unborn child. A 17-year-old male from Molino was also hospitalized with serious injuries. A 21-year-old male passenger in the Ford from Texas sustained minor injuries. No names have been released at this time.
