Hartford, CT (December 1, 2025) – A woman is in critical condition following a hit-and-run crash Sunday evening that left her seriously injured on Wethersfield Avenue.
According to the Connecticut State Police, Hartford officers were dispatched at 5:17 p.m. on November 30 to the intersection of Wethersfield Avenue and Mannz Street for a pedestrian-involved crash. Upon arrival, police found a woman in her 50s lying in the roadway with major injuries. She was rushed to a nearby hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
Investigators said the woman had been attempting to cross the street when she was hit by two separate vehicles. The first driver stopped and is cooperating with the investigation. However, the second vehicle fled the scene and has not been identified.
Hartford’s Crime Scene Division is leading the investigation, and authorities are asking witnesses to come forward.
