According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 8 p.m. on November 30 at the intersection of Woodman Avenue and Chase Street. The ambulance was transporting an 81-year-old woman and a 94-year-old man to the hospital when it was struck by an SUV. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division reported that the SUV driver had made an unsafe turn, which led to the crash.
