Tulare County, CA (December 2, 2025) – A tragic crash early Sunday morning claimed the life of 29-year-old Jesus Dario Corona, a police officer with the Parlier Police Department, after his vehicle collided with a tractor in Tulare County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the scene around 4:32 a.m. on December 1. The incident took place on Avenue 152, just west of Road 140. Officer Corona was driving a 2023 Honda Civic when he approached a tractor traveling in the same direction. For reasons still under investigation, the Honda Civic crashed into the rear of the tractor.
Tragically, Officer Corona died from his injuries at the scene. The tractor operator was not hurt in the crash. The California Highway Patrol Visalia Area Office has asked any witnesses to come forward with information.
