According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place just before midnight on November 30 in the 3500 block of India Street. The victim was reportedly crossing mid-block near Vine Street when he was struck by a silver or gray sedan traveling northbound through a green light.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop and continued northbound, fleeing the scene. Emergency responders transported the man to a nearby hospital, but he was later pronounced dead.
