Atlantic City, NJ (December 6, 2025) – A tragic workplace incident claimed the life of one worker and led to the rescue of two others after a piece of a radio tower collapsed in the Venice Park neighborhood of Atlantic City on Thursday.
According to the New Jersey State Police, emergency crews were called to the 300 block of Murray Avenue on December 4, 2025. Officials say a large section of the radio tower suddenly broke off and struck one of the workers, who died at the scene from his injuries. The two other workers present were safely rescued but declined medical treatment.
Authorities have established a perimeter around the area, noting that another unstable piece of the tower remains precariously hanging. Out of caution, the public has been advised to avoid the scene.
