According to the New Jersey State Police, the accident occurred around 6 a.m. on December 5 when a westbound pickup truck collided with the passenger side of the bus, which was traveling north on Heron Drive. The impact sent both vehicles off the roadway and into nearby brush.
An 80-year-old bus driver from Cherry Hill, a 33-year-old passenger from Penns Grove, and the 51-year-old pickup driver from Woolwich were all transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
