Los Angeles, CA (December 10, 2025) – Two individuals suffered burn injuries early Tuesday morning after a fire broke out inside a one-story duplex in the Sylmar neighborhood of Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Los Angeles Fire Department crews were dispatched to the scene around 5:15 a.m. on December 10. The fire was reported at 14934 West Cobalt Street near Fusano Avenue. Firefighters quickly located the flames in one unit of the duplex and successfully extinguished the blaze before it could spread further.
LAFD spokesperson Jennifer Middleton confirmed that two civilians sustained burn injuries during the incident. They were treated on-site and later transported to the hospital for additional care. No injuries were reported among firefighters.
