Rosamond, CA (December 12, 2025) – A deadly two-vehicle crash claimed at least one life Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of West Avenue A and 70th Street West in the Rosamond area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 3:30 p.m. on December 9 following reports of a serious collision. A dark-colored Jeep and a Honda Pilot were involved in the wreck, which left both vehicles heavily damaged.
Emergency crews discovered at least two individuals trapped inside the vehicles and worked to extricate them. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Kern County Coroner’s Office after notification of next of kin.
