Stanislaus County, CA (December 13, 2025) – A 55-year-old Modesto man was killed early Thursday morning in a violent head-on crash along Albers Road, just south of Dusty Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 3:35 a.m. on December 11. Responding officers arrived to find a Chrysler sedan and a Nissan pickup truck with major front-end damage. Preliminary findings indicate the Chrysler was traveling southbound on Albers Road when it crossed into the northbound lane, striking the pickup truck head-on.
The driver of the Nissan pickup, a Modesto resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chrysler, a 23-year-old man from Winton in Merced County, sustained major injuries and was transported to Oak Valley Hospital for treatment.
