Wilmore, KY (December 13, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a serious two-vehicle crash Thursday night that left one person trapped inside a vehicle on North Lexington Avenue.
According to the Kentucky State Police, first responders were dispatched at approximately 7:48 p.m. on December 12. When firefighters arrived on scene, they discovered one driver trapped inside a heavily damaged truck. The driver and two passengers in the second vehicle had already exited by the time crews arrived.
To reach the trapped individual, firefighters used specialized tools to remove the entire roof of the truck. The driver was then safely extracted and transferred to Jessamine County EMS for emergency medical treatment. The current condition of the injured driver has not been released.
Wilmore Fire Department personnel also assessed and treated the other three individuals at the scene for potential injuries.
