Longs, SC (December 19, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a serious two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning that caused a major disruption to traffic on North Highway 905. The crash occurred near Rolling River Road just after 8:10 a.m. on December 17.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the collision resulted in one vehicle overturning and another crashing into a utility pole, snapping it in half. Due to the severity of the crash, extrication efforts were necessary to assist at least one person who was confined in a vehicle. That individual was later transported to the hospital with injuries. Another person involved declined transport after signing a medical waiver.
