Mansfield, NJ (December 17, 2025) — A devastating house fire broke out Tuesday morning at a home located on Fireside Circle in the Homestead at Mansfield community, an age-restricted neighborhood in Burlington County. One man was airlifted in critical condition, and five first responders were also injured during rescue efforts.
According to the New Jersey State Police, the fire was first reported at 8:58 a.m. on December 17. When crews arrived, they encountered heavy flames and smoke coming from the rear of the house. Firefighters quickly entered the home and pulled out an unconscious man who began breathing on his own after receiving emergency aid. He was airlifted to Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia for further treatment.
