East Los Angeles, CA (December 19, 2025) – A head-on collision involving two vehicles resulted in one person being trapped and later hospitalized early Thursday morning on the 710 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:47 a.m. on December 18 in the northbound lanes of the Long Beach (710) Freeway at the junction with the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway. Responding officers found a black Jeep Wrangler and a blue Honda SUV that had collided head-on in the middle lanes.
One individual was trapped inside the Honda SUV following the crash. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics arrived on scene and extricated the victim, who was transported to a local hospital. The person’s current condition remains unknown.
