According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at approximately 11:20 p.m. on December 17. Dispatch audio confirmed that a vehicle entered an active construction area and crashed, prompting response from San Luis Obispo City Fire’s Truck 1 and Truck 2 units.
