Glendale, CA (December 21, 2025) — A deadly multi-vehicle crash early Saturday morning on the 210 Freeway near Lowell Avenue in the Glendale area claimed one life and left another person hospitalized in critical condition, officials said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:21 a.m. on December 21 on the westbound side of the freeway. Officers arrived to find several vehicles involved, including a Nissan Pathfinder that had overturned and landed on its side.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department pronounced one individual dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased, including age and gender, has not yet been released. Another person was transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
CHP issued a SigAlert that closed all westbound lanes at Lowell Avenue from 1:42 a.m. until around 6:46 a.m. while crews investigated and cleared the scene.
