According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 9:17 p.m. on December 23 at the intersection of 47th Street East and Avenue R-8. Deputies from the Palmdale Station responded to the scene and confirmed that multiple vehicles were involved in the incident.
One individual was critically injured and transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center in Lancaster. The victim was later pronounced dead at the hospital, confirmed by Lt. Oscar Martinez. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity, including age or gender, pending notification of next of kin.
