Louisville, KY (December 28, 2025) – A tragic multi-vehicle crash in Louisville claimed the lives of two people Friday evening in the 10300 block of Preston Highway at Maple Spring Drive.

According to the Kentucky State Police, officers with the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the deadly collision shortly after 8:00 p.m. on December 26, 2025. Witnesses reported that a motorcyclist traveling northbound collided with a passenger vehicle that was pulling out from Maple Spring Drive. The impact caused the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle.

Moments later, a third vehicle heading northbound crashed into the initial wreck.

The driver of the passenger car, believed to be in his 80s, was transported to University of Louisville Hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.
