Vineland, NJ (January 5, 2026) – A deadly collision took place on New Year’s Eve in Vineland when two vehicles crashed at the intersection of North Delsea Drive and Columbia Avenue, resulting in the death of one driver.
According to the New Jersey State Police, officers with the Vineland Police Department’s traffic safety unit responded to the scene at approximately 9:18 p.m. on December 31. Lance D. Warren, a 41-year-old man from Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, had been driving a Chrysler 300 southbound on North Delsea Drive when he attempted to make a U-turn near Columbia Avenue.
As Warren was executing the turn, a southbound 2014 Chevrolet Camaro struck the Chrysler in the northbound lane. The impact left Warren with serious injuries. He was transported to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, where he was later pronounced dead on January 2. The other driver, identified as 33-year-old Donald S. Hunt Jr. from Pittsgrove Township, suffered a back injury and was also taken to the hospital.
Police have not filed charges at this time. The crash remains under investigation by Officer Anthony Capelli of the traffic safety unit.
