Dulzura, CA (January 9, 2026) – A 30-year-old motorcyclist from Chula Vista died Wednesday morning in a tragic collision involving a firefighter’s personal vehicle along a rural stretch of state Route 94.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 8:45 a.m. on January 7 near Campbell Ranch Road, directly in front of Cal Fire Station 30. Authorities say a 33-year-old firefighter was driving a Toyota Tacoma pickup eastbound on the highway and attempted a left turn into a driveway when it collided with a westbound Yamaha motorcycle.
