Montebello, CA (January 13, 2026) – A 26-year-old man was killed early Saturday morning following a collision involving a semi-truck on the eastbound side of the Pomona (60) Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were called to the scene at approximately 3:04 a.m. on January 13 near the North Garfield Avenue exit. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found a white sedan involved in a crash with a semi-trailer. The driver of the sedan, later identified as Aidan Guevara, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Montebello Fire Department.
A SigAlert was issued shortly after the incident, closing one lane of eastbound traffic until it was cleared around 6:42 a.m.
