Authorities said 65-year-old Eric Sullivan of Philadelphia was driving a 1997 Toyota 4Runner when he veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a 2026 Mercedes-Benz C-300. The Toyota then struck a 2025 Nissan Rogue.

The impact caused the Toyota 4Runner to overturn several times. Sullivan was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene at 9:25 p.m.

Inside the Mercedes-Benz, a 45-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman, and an 8-year-old girl were all hurt and transported to the hospital in stable condition. The Nissan Rogue driver was also hospitalized, though their condition has not been released.
