According to reports, the collision occurred just after 3 p.m. when a westbound semi-truck struck another semi-truck, sending both vehicles across the median into the eastbound lanes where they collided with multiple other vehicles. One individual sustained life-threatening injuries, while several others suffered varying degrees of injury.
