Beaumont, TX (June 5, 2025) — A severe single-vehicle crash in Beaumont left eight people injured early in the morning on May 31.
According to reports, the accident happened around 2:16 a.m. when a silver Yukon traveling near Redwood Street and Concord Road lost control, went off the road, overcorrected, and collided with a tree. Witnesses reported the vehicle was seen driving recklessly prior to the crash.
When officers from the Beaumont Police Department arrived, they found the SUV wrapped around the tree with multiple occupants trapped inside. Beaumont EMS and Fire personnel worked quickly to extricate the victims. Several individuals suffered serious injuries, including broken femurs, compound fractures, fractured skulls, and broken arms. All injured were transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital, with two patients trauma alerted due to the severity of their injuries. Only one passenger was able to walk to an ambulance without assistance.
