According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 1:13 p.m. on January 20. Investigators say a 2012 Toyota Scion tC, driven by a 37-year-old man from Memphis, Tennessee, was heading westbound when it crossed the centerline and struck a 2023 Buick Envision traveling eastbound.
The driver of the Buick, a 59-year-old woman from Cardwell, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene by Dunklin County Coroner James Powell.
