According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 7:49 a.m. on January 30 at the intersection of Allison Drive and East Monte Vista Avenue. A 2016 Honda CR-V collided with a man riding a bicycle, leaving the cyclist down in the roadway. Witnesses reported the rider was breathing but drifting in and out of consciousness at the scene.
