Clay County, MO (February 15, 2026) – A three-vehicle injury crash disrupted northbound traffic along Interstate 35 on the afternoon of February 11. The collision occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. on northbound Interstate 35 at Missouri Route 1 in Clay County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol , a 2011 Lexus RX350 was traveling northbound when it struck the rear of a 2020 Land Rover Discovery, which then collided with the back of a 2015 Honda Civic. Authorities reported that the Land Rover and Honda were stopped in traffic at the time of the crash.
The 22 year old driver of the Lexus, from Pleasant Valley, Missouri, sustained minor injuries and sought his own treatment. The 45 year old driver of the Land Rover, from Liberty, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to North Kansas City Hospital. The 36 year old Honda driver reported minor vehicle damage and was able to drive from the scene. The Lexus and Land Rover were removed by tow services due to extensive damage.
