The collision occurred shortly after 11 a.m., approximately two miles south of Verbena in Chilton County, and involved a GMC Envoy, a GMC Sierra pickup truck, and a third vehicle damaged by debris.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 65-year-old Valerie Granville of Montgomery was driving the GMC Envoy when it crossed the median and collided head-on with the GMC Sierra. Valerie Granville and two passengers in the Envoy, Vensen Granville, 39, and Willie Gholston, 69, both of Montgomery, were pronounced dead at the scene.
