Franklin Township, NJ (July 26, 2026) – A 52 year old Franklin Township woman who was struck by a vehicle while crossing a roadway in Somerset County has been identified by authorities as the victim of a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on Tuesday evening, July 15.
According to the New Jersey State Police , emergency responders were dispatched at approximately 8:35 p.m. to the area of Hamilton Street near Francis Street in Franklin Township following reports of a crash involving a pedestrian.
Investigators identified the victim as Radika Eagar, 52, of Franklin Township. Authorities said Eagar was crossing Hamilton Street when she was struck by a Toyota Corolla. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota was not injured during the collision.
