According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. on August 2 on the westbound 10 Freeway west of Ford Dry Lake Road.
Authorities identified the victims as Fernando Lomeli, 38, of Riverside, Jose Lomeli Jr., 44, of Riverside, and Maria Davila, 36, of Phoenix, Arizona.

Another passenger in the Chevrolet was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs with severe injuries.
