Blair County, PA (August 5, 2026) – A wrong way crash on Interstate 99 in Blair County early Tuesday claimed the life of a 40-year-old State College man and left a tractor trailer driver with possible injuries.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the collision occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m. on August 4 in the southbound lanes of Interstate 99 near mile marker 42.6. Investigators determined that a pickup truck was traveling northbound in the left lane of the southbound side of the interstate when it collided head on with a tractor trailer.
