According to the New Jersey State Police, emergency crews responded shortly before 11:00 p.m. on August 3 to the area of 56 Tappan Avenue following reports of a serious two vehicle collision. Upon arrival, first responders found that one of the vehicles had traveled off the roadway and struck a two and a half story, two family home located at the intersection.
