Saint Thomas Township, PA (August 9, 2026) – Two motorcycle riders were killed Saturday evening, August 1, following a collision with another vehicle at Lincoln Way West and Hade Road in Franklin County. The crash occurred shortly after 5 p.m. and claimed the lives of 54-year-old Ross Deshong and his passenger, 50-year-old Paula Young.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Deshong was operating the motorcycle eastbound on Lincoln Way West with Young as his passenger when they approached the Hade Road intersection. Police said a vehicle operated by a 34-year-old man was preparing to make a left turn.
