Hughesville, MD (August 30, 2026) – A two vehicle crash in Hughesville Saturday afternoon left one adult hospitalized after one of the vehicles caught fire. Authorities also took one individual into custody after the person reportedly attempted to leave the scene.
According to the Maryland State Police, the collision occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on August 29 near the intersection of Prince Frederick Road and Brookleigh Woods Lane. Initial reports indicated that two vehicles were involved and that one of them caught fire following the impact.
